What happens in my first private session?

We will discuss your reason for coming to learn or continue mindfulness meditation in order to create a personalized practice that suits your individual needs such as stress, physical pain, or attention management.  I will then educate you about mindfulness meditation as there are a lot of myths regarding what it is and isn’t. Next, I will guide you through a meditation and you will give me feedback on your experience. We will meditate again to practice and talk about how you can do it on your own. Anyone can meditate, but finding a way to make it your own practice will make you more successful. This is why creating a personalized meditation practice that can be replicated on your own is key.  In subsequent sessions, I will offer to record the guided meditations we do on your phone or iPad to help you continue and deepen your meditation practice.


How many sessions will I need to get started and how often do you recommend coming?

The recommended number of sessions is based on each client and what he or she is looking to accomplish. Clients benefit most when they commit to 3-4 sessions. The goals we define together are the foundation for our future plan. Many clients find value from coming weekly and have done so for years.

Do you offer group classes?

Mindfultime does not offer ongoing group classes, but I am happy to accommodate requests for multi-person private sessions.

For which age groups is instruction offered?

I offer mindfulness instruction to clients ages young adult and up.

How do I schedule a private session?

How long is a private session?

Private sessions are one hour long.


What do I need to do or bring before coming to a session?

You are not required to do, read, or bring anything beforehand. Just bring yourself.

What will I sit on while meditating?

There are regular chairs as well as various types of meditation seating including a Back Jack Chair, yoga bolsters, and traditional meditation cushions. You may also lie down on a yoga mat.

What do I need to wear to a mindfulness meditation session?

Please wear comfortable clothing. The indoor space is air-conditioned. You will be asked to leave your shoes in the waiting room, so feel free to bring comfortable socks.


Which days and hours do you schedule appointments?

I schedule appointments Monday-Friday between 9:30am-7:00pm.

What is your cancellation policy?

Please give 24 hours notice if you need to cancel in order to avoid being charged for the session.

What is the cost of a private session?

The cost of a private session for one person is $90. The cost of a private session for two people is $125. The cost of a private group of 3-5 people is $195.

What types of payment do you accept?

I accept cash, check, credit cards, and debit cards. Clients are encouraged to pay before each session using PayPal in order to make the most out of each meditation session.

Where can I park?

Parking is available in the parking lot behind the building at no charge. You can enter the building from the parking lot.
